T20 is here to stay
T20 world cup? wasnt it a little too early for the ICC to organise such a event, given that none of the teams had had proper exposure to this kind of game. this was very clear when shoaib malik said he did not know abt the bowl-outs altogether. But its been a big hit already. Reason? finally we have a version of it for the people who do not wish to spend an entire day watchin a single match, let alone 5 days of cricket which more often than not doesnt give a result after 5 days!! but here we have a version of cricket that can give football n other short sports a run for their money. the biggest complaint against cricket was from people who had gotten used to football games gettin over within 2 hours. and now we have an answer! less stress on the body of players, lesser duration of games, more sixes and boundaries, awesome aggression and electrifying atmosphere. the perfect recipe. the bcci looks like an idiot now, given that earlier they were the only board to have voted against bringing T20 into life. as usual bcci has never been right, they as always are just profitable. richest club in the world, but the most poorly maintained, and d pathetic condition by which it treats its players. anyway bak to T20, having had a wonderful start there has been set a platform, platform from which it can soar higher if treated properly. but watever the case, T20 is here to stay....
T20, hurray!!
we went, we saw, we struggled, we conquered.. yes. the first T20 cup is with us! tht is an achievement no1 can beat.. the element of surprise was in the way we won d cup.. played like a team, and not like 10 members dependin on the 11th to perform. the only thing different about it was who was tht man, dravid sometimes, sachin.. and now lately zaheer n yuvi have also a few between them.. but now its different.. we play like how we need to play.. like a team , with everyone contributing.. and its not such a big surprise that we won given tht we had played in such a manner.. we just got lucky in the end wen d man misbah came in.. wat a revelation.. how d hell do pakistan keep churning out such raw talent.. d guy is 33 !! n stil he plays his game like a teenager undeterred by the occasion and staring at the sun!! but a little too much to believe if he had pulled it off for pakistan.. but who d hell cares, d cup is ours and so is the moment for us to enjoy.. kudos to the truly TEAM India
