T20 is here to stay

T20 world cup? wasnt it a little too early for the ICC to organise such a event, given that none of the teams had had proper exposure to this kind of game. this was very clear when shoaib malik said he did not know abt the bowl-outs altogether. But its been a big hit already. Reason? finally we have a version of it for the people who do not wish to spend an entire day watchin a single match, let alone 5 days of cricket which more often than not doesnt give a result after 5 days!! but here we have a version of cricket that can give football n other short sports a run for their money. the biggest complaint against cricket was from people who had gotten used to football games gettin over within 2 hours. and now we have an answer! less stress on the body of players, lesser duration of games, more sixes and boundaries, awesome aggression and electrifying atmosphere. the perfect recipe. the bcci looks like an idiot now, given that earlier they were the only board to have voted against bringing T20 into life. as usual bcci has never been right, they as always are just profitable. richest club in the world, but the most poorly maintained, and d pathetic condition by which it treats its players. anyway bak to T20, having had a wonderful start there has been set a platform, platform from which it can soar higher if treated properly. but watever the case, T20 is here to stay....
